This is a photograph i took at the Chihuly Bridge of Glass in 2008,
when my girls and i took a trip to Tacoma, Washington to see the Museum of Glass.
We also visited the Tacoma Art Museum which has a nice open art studio.
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths,
but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs,
that it may benefit those who listen.

ReplyDeleteControlling my tongue-always a struggle.
The picture is gorgeous!
It truly is a tough one. It's much easier to use kind words when i write, as i have time to think about what is being said before anyone receives the words. But, when i speak i don't have that extra step of editing going on.

DeleteWayne and Margaret often refer to the Corning Glass Museum which is on the east coast. Maybe I can make it to this one on our west coast a little easier; either way, and which ever one, I want to visit at least one of them :-)
ReplyDeleteIt would be a treat either way.
DeleteThere was a Chihuly show recently in Richmond at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts; I've seen his work in a number of other exhibitions, too. I don't know anyone who doesn't like his glass. The anniversary of the glass movement here in the U.S. has produced some tremendous shows all over the country.
ReplyDeleteChihuly and his crew has really put out a lot of works. I'm glad that they make there way around.
DeleteBeautiful colors in the glass and the light.
ReplyDeleteWow! That perked me right up. In a totally wholesome way.
